Text: Galatians 4:1-7
Let’s consider who is who in these verses. The heir is the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds. The servant is a sinner; see verse 7, thou art no more a servant. You’re not the heir, not yet. You begin as a servant. That’s where all sinners begin.
Humility (vss 1-2)
- Differeth nothing – That’s a powerful thought that the God of Creation at one point in time differed nothing from man He created.
- Under tutors – That’s also powerful thought that He would be subject to anything.
- Both in subjection.
Heart (vss 3-5)
Heritage (vss 5-7)
- From sinner to the family of God.
- Opportunity as a joint heir with Christ and all the blessings of the estate!
