Everyone has a past
- Old things past away behold all things are become new
- Such WERE some of you…
- The old man dresses himself in these:
- Anger
- Wrath
- Malice
- Blasphemy
- Filthy communication
- Lying
Put off and put on
- Ephesians 4:24-29
- It’s not just put off. It’s put on. Christianity is not a bunch of rules and thou shalt not. But it is put on these other things.
Spiritual matters are not racial or class qualities (vss 10-11)
- Spiritual truths are not racial truths. Mercy is not white, black, Chinese, Indian, etc. Kindness is not South African, Nigerian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, etc.
