Here is a deathbed confession. Literally within a couple of hours of this man’s death he puts his trust in Jesus Christ.
Overcame the voice of his companion (vss 39-40)
- For a while both criminals are jeering and taunting Jesus Christ.
- Some of you don’t know what to do with Jesus Christ and don’t even know how can help you because you’re too influenced by your friends.
Overcame the vileness of his own condition (vss 40-41)
Overcame the vulnerability of Christ (vss 41-42)
- How could this be the son of God if he’s dying on a cross?
