Restoration begins with repentance (vss 1-6)
The accusers are only pardoned on Job’s behalf (vss 7-9)
Job is restored when he prayed for his friends (vs 10)
- 2 Corinthians 2:9-11 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things. 10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
- Prayer for your enemies is LIBERTY! It is FREEDOM!
Job is restored double (vss 10-17)
- James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
