In the Name of the Lord
Text: Psalm 20
There is power in some names. The phrase, they make a name for themselves. Kind of like they’ve created a brand. If your name is Hunter Biden then you have access to money and power because of your name. There is a world you and I don’t have access to because we don’t have the right name. The LORD is a king who has a kingdom in verse 9. The name of the king is access and power.
The name of the LORD (20:1, 5, 7) carries with it a kingdom with access and support of eternal value. Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
