We usually look to the heroes, the great ones to gain inspiration. But I think that can sometimes work against us. I want to look at a normal mother who is no hero, faces trouble, loses hope, meets the redeemer, and prospers afterwards.
Chapter 1

Chapter 3
- Preparing to hear the redeemer (3:1-5)
- Surrender (3:6-7)
- Redeemer’s willingness to redeem (3:8-13)
- Veil turned into a vessel of promise (3:14-18)
Chapter 4
- Redemption means land, marriage, and children (4:1-5)
- Next of kin rejects the offer (4:6-8)
- Boaz buys the land and marries Ruth for the benefit of Naomi (4:9-12)
- Naomi is restored (4:13-17)
- Successor to the king (4:18-22)
