Text: Psalm 67
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; God shall govern the nations upon the earth. Jesus Christ will rule and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords and all things will be brought in subjection to the will of God. Revelation 19-20.
There are three signs of these times in this psalm.
The way of the Lord will be universally known and accepted (vs 2)
- Habakkuk 2:12-14 Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! 13 Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? 14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
- Hebrews 8:10-13 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
